Yes, I am on a blog sabbatical (read about it here.)

Yes, I am posting here today anyway.

Because I said something to someone this morning about my business that surprised me yet felt deeply true.

Then in a later, completely different conversation on a completely different topic, I said something that surprised me, yet felt deeply true and I was met with a lovely chorus of “Yes, exactly” and “100%.”

So, here’s the first thing I said. Maybe it will surprise you. Maybe it will feel deeply true for you. Maybe you’ll think “yes, exactly” or “!00%.”

“We all have a finite amount of

energy and creativity and drive to give

and in the last few years

I've kept so little of it for business or myself.”
