Welcome to retrospective season!
Everyone's talking about the "best of" and "worst of" 2020. We're looking at the things we got done and the stuff left unfinished or unlaunched.
As humans, we tend to focus on the "worst of" and "unfinished" and "unlaunched" columns.
But even in 2020, there were glimmers and gold. Don't let yours sneak past uncelebrated! ⭐
I experienced a moment of gold yesterday as I clicked "end meeting" after a bonus session of On Fridays , We Write, my virtual co-working group.
Even in a year that served up so much crap, I witnessed books coming to life, email campaigns launched, nagging projects conquered, clutter cleared, tricky messages sent and new programs and courses come into being.
I watched my group of virtual co-workers support one another, celebrate one another and get. sh*t. done.
I want all of this for you, too.
Carving out the time and space to focus on that thing you want to do.
Locking it in on your calendar.
Putting a little skin in the game as a commitment booster.
Feeding off the buzz of the collective energy of people who are just as focused as you.
That's a good part of the “art” of getting.sh*t.done. It’s also the goal of On Fridays, We Write. We begin again on Friday, January 8th.
Just like this year, I'll focus on providing:
a boost of support and accountability
the certainty that you can always count on our 3-hour block of time together on Fridays
⭐s to celebrate completing our 45-minute sprints (Literally. Gold stars are baked into the process.)
All the details are here.
And, you can always take a session for a test run. Here’s how.
Wishing you a fantastic 2021, filled to the brim with glimmers and gold; best of's, and got done's.
