Yes, it has been a minute.
Life has thrown some curves at me recently, and even foreseeable curves are still a little jolting. I gave myself and my business a little space to be jolted. To go with it and bend in ways I wasn’t planning to bend.
There can be a gift in that. It can shake things up, dismantle cobwebs, make alternate paths visible.
And this is the perfect time of year for that kind of refresh. Here in the Northern Hemisphere, we are smack dab in the middle of spring. Things are turning green and flowering. My farmer friend reminds me it’s lambing season, and there are dozens of new little hoofs prancing around her dirt.
So many signs of fresh starts and renewal.
For 4.23, too. I’ve been at this a long time (21 years in total this month!) and there’s power in a pause to consider what’s important and how do I help? So watch this space and 4.23’s other spaces (Facebook, LinkedIn) for refreshed ways to help you get out of your own rut about marketing, content, outreach, how you use your time (not to mention your money and your sanity.)
In the meantime, there are a couple of ways you can refresh your own thinking about how you define marketing and putting yourself and your work in the world.
