Tomorrow is Thanksgiving day in the U.S. -- a day of gratitude, food and rest. (Okay, that last one might just be me.)
I couldn't let this Well Said Wednesday post go by without a sincere and heartfelt "thank you." It is a privilege to be able to shape a business that serves small business owners and does so authentically and whole-heartedly.
And the only way that happens is with you.
"Let us be grateful to people who make us happy,
they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom."
-Marcel Proust
That Proust quote is one of my favorites and I come back to it often this time of year.
Same with the Thanksgiving-themed movie Pieces of April (with the bonus of a very '90s Sam Phillips song on the soundtrack!)
None of which are pictured above. That would be the “Turkey of Achievement” and it replaced celebratory gold stars during this week’s On Fridays, We Write virtual coworking. That turkey is the crafting perfecta - pipe cleaners, felt, hot glue and googly eyes. Could you ask for anything more? It may just re-appear during the December co-working cycle!
I’m giving myself the Turkey of Achievement for showing up as is, goofy as it may be today, in my messaging. Because that’s what good messaging does. It telegraphs you. It attracts your group and lets the others walk away. It shows your heart. ♥
Wishing you and yours a warm and wonderful holiday weekend.
